Nine years ago, risen amidst the gunfights and bloodshed in a sinful city, were two legendary figures - nobody knew their real name; they would always be remembered as "Bullet" and "Brain".
"Bullet", as the name suggests, earned a reputation for being the sharpest shooter the city had ever seen. He could take out his enemy with a pistol in less than one tenth of a second. However, few people knew the tragic story behind Bullet's composed exterior - nine years ago, the woman he loved had taken a bullet that was meant for him. After her death, Bullet vowed never to pick up his gun again. Henceforth, he had not been seen by anybody!
"Brain", on the other hand, earned his reputation for his ingenious plots and the countless electronic gadgets he was equipped with. Like Bullet, he had a past that few people knew - nine years ago, a string of accidents led him, by mistake, to murder his family and that of a little girl named "Dime", whom he saved. Brain then vowed never to tell a lie again, and since then he seemed to have disappeared.
Nine years passed quickly, and when the stories of Bullet and Brain became legends, they returned to the sinful city on a mission: to protect Rain, the granddaughter of "The Principal", the most powerful mafia boss of the city.
One day, The Principal visited Rain and gave her the favourite necklace of her grandmother, a Swiss bank account number which she had to memorise in order to access the money in the account, and two banknotes, both torn in half. On both banknotes was written a sentence: "I owe you my life." The signatures beneath it were "Bullet" and "Brain" respectively. Rain was told that whenever she sent the banknotes to the given addresses, "Bullet" and "Brain" would immediately come to her aid.
The following day, a young police officer, Fred, came to tell Rain that her grandfather had been murdered, most likely by his right hand man, Winston. As Winston was unable to get his hands on The Principal's money in the Swiss bank account, he would definitely come for Rain! Fred then took Rain to a safe house where they were protected by the police. On the way, they were ambushed, but Rain managed to mail the banknotes to "Bullet" and "Brain" unnoticeably.
Bullet and Brain, both men of their words, returned to the sinful city right away! However, one of them had vowed never to kill again, and the other never to lie. What could they possibly do for Rain?
