Fans of the action cop-anime HeatGuy_J should keep an eye on store shelves... the last DVD volume is just about here! The climax to one of the most outstandingly animated and best written anime television series in recent years is just about on western shores. As distributed by Geneon Entertainment, the anime HeatGuy_J will have its seventh volume be out by the last week in July.

A cop drama unlike any other and an action anime at its core, the animated television series HeatGuy_J is nearing the end of its DVD distribution run. Kidnappers, smugglers and crime lords are all taken care of and put away, and all in a days work thanks to the tag-team of the young and intelligent cop Daisuke and his android partner J. An animated series that brings back the fabled genre of detective work with the utmost sincerity towards style and design, as well as an animated series loved for its dynamic cast of characters who express a wide spectrum of emotions, the anime HeatGuy_J is certainly an action anime worth a glance.

The last DVD installation of HeatGuy_J, entitled "Revolution," tries to bring to a close all of the nagging mysteries and enigmas that have arisen since the first few episodes. The bonds of trust between each character are observed from a new perspective and the reliability of each character to their supposed ally is also redone as well. "Revolution" is the seventh disc in the entire collection of HeatGuy_J and is obviously a must-have for fans of the television anime. Daisuke and J are partners against crime and corruption; longtime fans of the anime will have to pick up this final volume to see if the war is won, or if the war has just begun. Daisuke, a seemingly calm and composed young man whose deadly with a gun and popular with the ladies, and J, a government engineered android specifically designed to fight crime; two individuals although not seemingly alike, do indeed need one another to survive, and as HeatGuy_J comes to an end fans can see just how Daisuke and J, as a team, handle the toughest of problems.

It's brother against brother and machine against machine in the final chapter of HeatGuy_J as distributed by Geneon Entertainment. All of the built up drama and built up angst come to a head within this intense struggle for justice as J and Daisuke try to figure out just what in the heck is going on. With criminal masterminds around every corner and with the city falling into a pit of corruption even worse than before; it would appear that the carefree attitude Daisuke usually holds and the deep thinking that J possesses are almost purposeless in a city about to become lawless. The instability of anything and everything threatens to ignite an explosion of crime in the thrilling conclusion of HeatGuy_J.

Geneon Entertainment has plans on distributing two versions of the seventh and final DVD to this action and drama anime series. One version of which is the standard single disc release of "Revolution," which will sell for $29.98 and another version of which is a unique combination; which is scheduled to include the single disc "Revolution" of HeatGuy_J, an bonus disc with all kinds of exclusive information and extra features, and an Artbox (to hold DVDs numbered four through seven), which will sell for $39.98. Set to hit store shelves on July 27, 2004; both versions of the final DVD installment of HeatGuy_J will contain over thirty minutes of interviews and behind-the-scenes footage, information and data on the spectacular cop drama animated series. All anime fans who purchase the seventh volume of the anime will get an interesting and exclusive look into how director Kazuki Akane--whom is best known for directing Escaflowne--managed to pull together all of his resources and info to craft one of the most stylish and adventurous anime shows in recent years. With fluid animation and a beautiful array of colors outlining the city backgrounds, HeatGuy_J is an anime with visuals that are just as incredible as the storyline.
